P.A.W. Scholarship Fund
The Patricia Ann Wallace Scholarship Fund
Patricia Ann Wallace
“A Covenant Woman”
August 3, 1948 – December 13, 2006
As a tribute to my mother, Patricia Ann Wallace, who died in December of 2006, my wife and I - along with the generous contributions of a host of family and friends - have started a scholarship fund in her name at her alma mater, Simmons College (www.simmons.edu) in Boston, MA. Patricia worked throughout the Greater Boston area, as well as in Puerto Rico, as a nurse and midwife for over twenty years. As such, the fund is dedicated to supporting the educational goals of black and Latina women interested in pursuing a career in the fields of nursing, midwifery and public health. We invite you to join us in this endeavor as we honor Patricia’s life and legacy. If you are so moved, tax-deductible contributions can be sent to the following:

Hi Josef,
Thank you so very much for sharing your mom’s tribute and your website with me. I am certain that Patricia is smiling and beaming with pride to such honor and legacy in her memory. This amazing woman will always be immortal to everyone that she has met throughout her life, including me. I think establishing a scholarship fund in her name is a great way to extend her humanity through the love, kindness, spirituality and joy that she had lavished on this world. I am glad that I had the privilege and blessing of having her as a friend. She will always be me in my heart.
Much love and blessings to you and your family,
Lilly
